Florida Sand Music Ranch in Brooksville turns into a bluegrass campground for three days this November, when the Cornucopia Music Fest returns for 2026 with a lineup built around songwriters and acoustic pickers rather than headline-chasing crowds.
The bill is led by Darrell Scott and The Gibson Brothers, two names that regularly show up at the top of bluegrass and Americana festival posters nationally, alongside Mason Via. Beyond the main stage, the festival runs a Next Gen Stage Showcase featuring the Sunshine Bluegrass Girls, giving younger pickers a dedicated slot rather than burying them in an afternoon lineup. There are also songwriting sessions and hands-on instrument workshops scattered through the weekend for anyone who wants to do more than just watch from a lawn chair.
The ranch itself is set up for a full weekend, not just a day trip. Camping is available on site, either 30-amp electric-and-water sites or primitive tent camping, and the festival lists discounts at nearby motels for anyone who would rather not sleep outdoors in late November. Food trucks and craft vendors fill in the gaps between sets, and the event bills itself as family friendly, with kids welcome throughout the grounds.
Three days is a long commitment for a festival most Tampa Bay residents have never heard of, which is part of the appeal if you already know the genre — it draws a crowd that’s there for the music and the camping, not a festival-hopping scene.
