Hernando County Hispanic Heritage Festival Runs a Full Day in Spring Hill This Saturday

Three dollars gets you in the door if you buy ahead — two more if you wait until the day of. The Hispanic Heritage Festival runs Saturday, Oct. 10, 2-8:30 p.m. at 1202 Kenlake Ave in Spring Hill, a full afternoon into evening built around live music, dancing, food vendors, and local artisans.

This isn’t a single-performance show with a vendor table on the side — it’s six and a half hours, which is long enough that the lineup covers live entertainment and cultural performances in rotation rather than one headlining act. The festival frames itself around honoring Hispanic heritage and the community’s roots specifically in Hernando County, not a generic cultural-festival template imported from somewhere else.

Beer is sold on site alongside the food vendors, and the event bills itself as welcoming to every background, not just a celebration for one community to attend on its own.

Spring Hill’s event calendar has filled out noticeably — Hernando’s recurring festivals and fairs have been growing, and this one sits alongside the rest of whatever else is happening around the county that same weekend. If the address itself is unfamiliar, here’s how Spring Hill became Hernando’s biggest town in the first place.
